Push Thru - Regional Peer Networking

Push Thru - Regional Peer Networking

Push Thru is an exciting new development for PQSA as we see first-hand how much benefit our services can provide to those with SCI.

The program will provide regular, informal and fun catch-ups where members will be able to share skills and knowledge.

Until now, PQSA has offered a limited outreach service in South Australia to people who return home to their community. Thanks to a grant from the Lifetime Support Authority, we are thrilled to be expanding this service to regional networks and run by volunteer Peer Network Facilitators. Along with greater participation in the community, Push Thru participants will be supported in managing the additional challenges of living in regional areas.

Our vision is to create a series of Spinal Cord Injury Networks throughout South Australian regional areas including the Eyre Peninsula, Iron Triangle, Yorke Peninsula, South East and the Riverland/Murray Mallee.

We would love to hear from you if you would like to be part of an ongoing Push Thru networking group! You may also like to become a volunteer facilitator for your local group. You will provide invaluable practical knowledge and problem-solving supports through your own lived experience.

Please fill out the application form here.
